As the days until festival are passing by very quickly, there is still so much work to get done. On this day, our Drone Lead, Project Manager, and Documentarian all worked on finishing this website that you are currently on so that it is ready for publishing. Also, Ms. Quinny had invited guest speakers who work at ActionDrone to come and talk to us about their competitive drone gaming league that is going to be happening next year.

!ONE WEEK BEFORE FESTIVAL! Meaning that there is still a lot to get done. Since our videos were due yesterday, we watched each group's video as a class to give each other warm/cool feedback. Our group mainly got more constructive feedback rather than celebrations. With that feedback from our peers, we used what they said to help make our video better. We rehearsed our scripts to each other, since we were going to be presenting to sophomores the next day. Also, on this day, a Pilot who served during WWII came to talk to us about his experience. We did not have much work time this day, but we were able to get as much done as possible.

We continued working on our Drone WeVideo since it was due at the end of class and we needed to get a lot of work done. We had to film a lot on this day. Our Documentarian went outside with the Pilot & Drone Lead to film their interviews. We re-filmed out Pilot talking about yaw, pitch, and roll. Also, we interviewed our Drone Lead explaining the physics of the drone. Adding on, we had to film our Drone Lead assembling our drone, which we later on time-lapsed it for our Drone WeVideo. With all of those videos being filmed, our Documentarian sent them to our Graphic Designer so that she was able to upload and edit them.

This was our first day back from Spring Break, and we quickly jumped back into working mode to get our work completed. Festival del Sol is just a week away, meaning that there is a lot of work that needs to get done. On this day, the Documentarian had to film our Engineer describing her drone drawings. Also, we filmed our Pilot describing what Yaw, Pitch, & Roll are. Although, she did not like how she looked so what had to re-film it the next day. Our Engineer & Graphic Designer worked on the Drone WeVideo together since it was due tomorrow. (Not as a final, but as something to show the class so we were able to get critique)

Once again, all the tasks that were assigned to us yesterday, were also assigned this day. The main reason for this is to make sure that we have everything looking nice and perfect for exhibition. Also, so that we are also able to get critique/feedback on if we need to edit our scripts or WeVideos. Although, the Engineer Lead had to draw a Bottom view of our drone.
March 16, 2016
This day, most of the tasks that were assigned were the same as the previous day, so we just continued what we were working on to get it done. The only differences were that the Project Manager, Engineer Lead, & Drone Lead had to create our script of what we are going to say at exhibition/answers to our questions. As long as they were all done with the tasks that needed to be completed. Also, the Documentarian Lead had to upload all the pictures/videos she took onto a folder that was shared with all group members and Ms. Quinny. In addition, she had to film our Drone Lead talking about our drone mission and how it works.
March 15, 2016
For this day, the Project Manager went over each member's task and made sure that they knew what they have to get done that day. The Drone Lead had to charge our drones and set up the mission so it was ready for us to film and fly. The Pilot Lead was in charge of completing the physics calculations. The Engineer Lead was in charge of a scale drawing of our drone. She had to do a Top and Side view. The Documentarian Lead had to find more evidence that supported our topic that we are going to be presenting for exhibition. In addition, they had to work on taking photographs of each member which is going to be posted in the "Photojournalism" section on our website. The Graphic Designer Lead had to create posters that had questions asking about out physics process and our drone mission. If they had finished that early, they would start working on our Drone WeVideo which will also be presented during our exhibition.

Ever since this day, we have been working in groups of six. The group that we paired up with were group 13, you can find their weebly here: *http://historyfromabovedrone13.weebly.com* A couple days before, Ms. Quinny gave us a sheet of paper that included all of the roles that each member was assigned. The roles were: Project Manager, Drone Lead, Pilot Lead, Engineer Lead, Documentarian Lead, & Graphic Designer Lead. Also, Ms. Quinny handed out another sheet that included 8 different topics that each group had to focus on for exhibition. My group decided on our topic which was "Aviation Power in War". With that topic, we had to find evidence that shows aviation power in war. Our evidence could either be from WWII or the Syria/Iraqi Refugee crisis. After we chose what role we wanted, we received checklists that had tasks of what we needed to complete at the end of the day. On this day, we had to set up our drone mission and film it, get evidence for our evidence binder, and start brainstorming ideas on how we want our posters/stickers to look like.

On this day, our group brainstormed on what mission we wanted our drone to specialize in. We decided on doing an obstacle course for our drone. So with that, we worked on creating a diagram on how we wanted our obstacle course to look and present to the class our idea. We also paired up with another group who were also making a similar obstacle course as us, and we decided as a whole to have two different obstacle courses. One for Beginners and one for Advanced drone flyers. After we decided on having two obstacle courses, we had to brainstorm and see what differences there would be in the courses and what materials we would need to create it.

One of our group members was missing this day, so we only had two of us working on this website that you are currently on. On this day, both members made sure to post on the page named FAQ of Drones. We have to make sure we add something to that daily in order to get 5 points each day. Also, we charged our drone throughout the morning to make sure it was charged and ready to go when we flew it. Ale was experimenting with the drone, trying to figure out how to control it. She played with it trying to figure out how to go up/down & side to side. She had some pretty smooth landings and she flew it pretty smoothly.
